Alex is the Founder and Managing General Partner of Ten Eleven Ventures, the industry’s original venture capital fund focused solely on investing in digital security. The firm invests globally and is stage agnostic. Since its founding, Ten Eleven Ventures has raised nearly $500M, invested in 35 cybersecurity companies, and achieved exits including Darktrace (LON: DARK), KnowBe4 (NASDAQ: KNBE), Ping Identity (Vista), and Cylance (BlackBerry).
The founding of Ten Eleven brought together Alex’s experiences in finance, investing, software, and security operating roles in Silicon Valley. In 2002, Alex co-founded PGP Corporation, a company that combined the vision for a new security company with the secure email standard OpenPGP. Alex was the critical business architect of the hybrid structure that combined an innovation-led startup with assets from Network Associates (McAfee). He served as a founding board member, CFO/VP of Business Development, and was a vital member of the executive team as it pioneered the encryption and data protection marketplaces. In 2010, Alex was the COO when Symantec purchased it.
After PGP, Alex continued his involvement with security companies as an angel investor, independent director, entrepreneur-in-residence at Khosla Ventures, and security deal team consultant to private equity firm KKR. The experience of simultaneously working on venture and growth opportunities within the cybersecurity sector was formative to Ten Eleven’s unique investment strategy.
Alex also worked at Embark (The Princeton Review), PeopleSoft, OneID, and was an investment banker with Robertson, Stephens. Alex received his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management & Technology program with a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the Moore School and a B.S. in Finance from the Wharton School.
Mark has led investments in early stage technology companies in a variety of roles since 2003 and has developed a particular passion for security, driven by the size and significance of the problem.
Most recently Mark was a partner at Fairhaven Capital where he led investments in Cylance, CounterTack, Celtra, and Trust Digital (acquired by McAfee). He also served as a board member of Co3 Systems and Digital Guardian.
Prior to Fairhaven Capital, Mark was a Managing Director for Motorola Ventures, and ran the West Coast Operations in Sunnyvale. There he led investments in Danger (acquired by Microsoft), Foundstone (acquired by McAfee), Lumidigm (acquired by HID Global), SkyBitz (acquired by Telular) and Mesh Networks (acquired by Motorola).
Mark also previously headed up Strategy and Business Development for Motorola’s CIO and IT organization. Previously, Mark held various Corporate Business Development and IT roles at Bell Canada Enterprises and the Bank of Montreal in Toronto, Canada.
Mark received his MBA from York University and earned a Bachelor’s degree from McMaster University in Canada.
Mark lives in Boston, with his wife and two children. He loves skiing out of bounds and fly fishing, but still needs a lot of work to be called a true fisherman.
Brian has held senior executive roles and been an internal and external legal and business advisor to technology companies and venture funds for the last twenty years with a particular emphasis on data privacy issues and cyber security solutions.
Brian began his career working with early stage technology companies and venture funds in the Palo Alto office of Cooley and then moved in-house where he served as General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer, and Chief Administration Officer for security and software companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, including PGP Corporation, Scale Eight, Reputation.com, OneID, Euclid Analytics, and Ionic Security.
Most recently, Brian served as General Counsel for Techstars, overseeing the legal function for both Techstars’ operating business and Techstars Ventures, its venture capital arm. Brian built the systems, process, staffing and compliance infrastructure to enable Techstars to operate forty accelerator programs annually in twelve countries with investments in 1,500+ active portfolio company graduates. In addition to overseeing all compliance and legal issues while at Techstars, Brian was an active mentor and advisor within the Techstars ecosystem, providing guidance on legal issues and scalability challenges.
Brian received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and graduated cum laude from the University of Puget Sound. As recent transplants to Colorado, Brian and his wife are enjoying all the outdoor activities that the Rocky Mountains have to offer and are trying to their best to stay ahead of their two boys on the ski slopes.
Megan provides marketing expertise to our portfolio and leads development and execution of our firm marketing strategy. Megan is available to all of our portfolio companies as they work through positioning, messaging and category creation, building brand and product awareness, forging press and analyst relationships, generating demand, enabling sales and channel partners, and other go-to-market initiatives. Prior to Ten Eleven, Megan worked in marketing strategy consulting for over 10 years. She began her career in finance as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York. She holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a BA from Williams College where she also played lacrosse. Megan lives in Boulder, Colorado a few blocks from the foothills (and the office!) with her husband and two great kids.
Todd Weber assists the Firm in sourcing and performing technical due diligence on new investments, as well as supporting 1011vc portfolio companies post-investment. Prior to 1011vc, Todd was Chief Technology Officer at Optiv. Todd also held positions at Optiv including Senior Security Consultant, Sales Engineer, Solutions Director, Vice President of Managed Security Services and Vice President of Partner Research and Strategy.
Todd has worked with some of the largest companies in the world developing and deploying Information Security strategies and architectures. Prior to Optiv, Todd held core networking and security positions with ACS and Halliburton. Todd has over 20 years of experience in IT engineering, cybersecurity and operations and more than 15 years of experience in the IT Security field. He holds a B.S. from Virginia Tech.
Tim has been a security entrepreneur, operator and engineer with strong roots in the National Security community for more than 20 years. As part of the Ten Eleven team, Tim focuses on building relationships within the Washington, DC ecosystem of cybersecurity entrepreneurs and problem solvers.
In 2017, Tim founded BlackHorse Solutions, a Ten Eleven portfolio company that was sold to Parsons in 2021. He supports several other national security advanced technology firms as an investor and advisor. Before working in the private sector, Tim spent eight years on active duty as a Naval Officer in the Submarine community as a nuclear engineer. His US Navy time included time teaching at the Naval Academy, submarine patrols in the Pacific, and a deployment to Iraq.
Tim received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy, graduating with Merit, and earned a Master’s in Engineering Management from the Catholic University of America. Tim has also been an Adjunct Professor in the University of North Carolina academic community, teaching Master’s level cybersecurity coursework. He is currently a Senior Fellow at the McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security at Auburn University.
Tim currently lives in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife and three children, spending time on the Chesapeake Bay and juggling various children’s sporting events. He is also a committed volunteer, helping high-performing military personnel transition out of service.
Kaiti has held various financial and strategic roles in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (“TMT”) space. Most recently, Kaiti worked in Corporate Development at Level 3 Communications and helped to sell the Company to CenturyLink. Post-merger, Kaiti moved into Strategic Finance.
Prior to Level 3, Kaiti worked in Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets, covering the Communications, Media and Entertainment industry. Kaiti started her career at Liberty Media in Corporate Development and Investor Relations.
Kaiti received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Denver, where Kaiti also served as a member of the Division One Women’s Lacrosse team.
Kaiti lives in Denver with her fiancé and English Lab, Wally. In her spare time, she loves climbing and hiking 14ers, getting turns in on the slopes and trail running in Colorado’s beautiful backyard.

Dr. Selim Aissi is Ellie Mae’s Chief Security Officer. He is responsible for Ellie Mae’s Security Engineering, Operations, Strategy and Information Technology Risk & Compliance.
Before joining Ellie Mae, Selim was the Vice President of Global Information Security at Visa. In that role, Selim transformed Visa’s information security program into the industry leader, led critical security programs including product security innovation, and enabled global growth and datacenter expansion. He also led the definition of security technologies for protecting Visa’s data, networks, data centers, digital wallets, applications, end-point devices, and other core capabilities for corporate network as well as issuer- and consumer-facing products and services. Selim was recognized for leading company-wide Security Initiatives including ApplePay, Visa’s APAC Data Center, and Visa’s Data Protection Programs.
Previously, Selim spent over 11 years at Intel where he held senior management and technology roles and championed several security technologies for Intel’s server, desktop, and mobile products. Prior to Intel, Selim held senior engineering positions at General Dynamics – Land Systems Division (M1A2 Battle Tank Vehicle Electronics), General Motors (Embedded Software Center of Excellence), and Applied Dynamics International.
Selim earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. engineering degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Senior Member of IEEE, and member of ACM and ISACA. He holds over 100 patents in various areas of computer and information security.
Selim has been an Advisory Board Member for several Startups (Dataguise, MagicCube, OneID), VCs (Ten Eleven Ventures), and Security Organizations & Institutions (UC Berkeley CISO Institute, Bay Area CISO Executive Governing Body, Intel Security Executive Advisory Board). He was named by the IT Security Magazine as one of the “Top 59 Most Influential Security Experts” and was co-author of the book Security for Mobile Networks and Platforms (Artech House).
Marc is currenttly the Global Head of EQT Growth at EQT Group. Previously, Marc worked as Corporate Vice President of Corporate Development at Microsoft. During his Microsoft tenure he led over 100 transactions with greater than $16 billion in consideration. Marc also practiced corporate law at Goodwin, Proctor in Boston, was a high school teacher and coach at Deerfield Academy and Phillips Academy Andover, and was an investment banker at UBS in New York.
He holds a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center, an MBA in finance from New York University and a bachelor of arts in economics from Colgate University.
Jon Callas is a cryptographer, software engineer, and entrepreneur. He is the co-author of many crypto and security systems including OpenPGP, DKIM, ZRTP, Skein, and Threefish. He has co-founded several startups including PGP and Silent Circle, and has worked on security and crypto for Apple, Tesla, Kroll-O’Gara, Counterpane, and Entrust.
As CounterTack’s CTO, Michael Davis is responsible for driving the advancement of CounterTack’s revolutionary endpoint security platform, as well as leveraging his visionary approach to push defenders ahead of attackers.
Davis is one of the nation’s leading authorities on information technology, authoring top selling book, Hacking Exposed, and contributing to publications such as InformationWeek and Dark Reading. He was voted one of the “Top 25 under 25” by BusinessWeek, and named semi-finalist of the Ernst and Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” award.
In 2005, he founded Savid Technologies, an IT security consulting firm. By 2010, Savid was ranked 611 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in America. Prior to Savid, he served as senior manager of global threats at McAfee, where he led a team of researchers investigating confidential and cutting-edge security analysis.
Didi is currently Vice President of Worldwide Channels and Alliances at Cylance, running all routes to market except OEM. Didi has been in security since 1999 leading end user sales and channel teams to drive growth in market leading organizations including Cylance, FireEye, Tanium, Websense, Symantec and Arrow. She spent 10 years at Websense/SurfControl running sales and the VAR channel and has been a key executive and strategist through 11 mergers and acquisitions during her career, focusing in the last 10 years on building Channel teams and profitable partner ecosystems. She led Alliances at FireEye, founding the FireEye team which delivered 75 product integrations and over $80M in net new revenues. She has received numerous sales and MVP awards and is a member of the Top Software Channel panels for her work in building channel programs and thought leadership. Prior to joining Cylance, Didi was at Symantec where she held a worldwide post, managing the Global Service Provider team focused on Cloud and MSSP partners including Verizon, AT&T, Deutsche Telecom, Orange, NTT and Amazon. At Cylance, Didi drove the expansion of the global channel to add regional sales teams distribution and launched a new partner portal and National partner program. Didi is fluent in 4 languages and lives in the Bay Area.
For more than 35 years, Dixon has influenced and guided entrepreneurs, investors and executives in the computer, communications, and internet industries. Dixon was named to the Forbes Midas List for four consecutive years and received the 2013 Special Achievement Award in VC from the International Business Forum. He was elected to the Board of the National Venture Capital Association in 2005 serving on the Executive Committee and as Chairman in 2008/9. Under Dixon’s leadership, the NVCA developed a widely embraced set of recommendations (NVCA 4-Pillar Plan) to stimulate liquidity in the U.S. venture capital industry. This plan resulted in bipartisan Congressional support for new job creation legislation and simplification of the IPO process for young emerging companies. Known as the JOBS Act, President Obama signed it into law in 2012. Dixon led DCM Ventures’ investments in About.com (Acquired by The New York Times Co.), @Motion (Acquired by Openwave), Clearwire (Nasdaq: CLWR), Coradiant (Acquired by BMC), Force10 Networks (Acquired by Dell), Foundry Networks (Nasdaq: FDRY), Internap (Nasdaq: INAP), Ipivot (Acquired by Intel), and Neutral Tandem (Nasdaq: TNDM). He is the past Chairman of Network Equipment Technologies (NWK) and serves on the Board of Directors of DIRECTV (DTV).
Prior to co-founding DCM Ventures, Dixon launched the venture capital industry’s first fund focused solely on telecom, investing in such noteworthy companies as Alantec, Bridge Communications, Centillion Networks, Network Equipment Technologies, Optilink, Picturetel, Polycom and UUNet. He also founded and ran a strategic technology consulting firm, served on the faculty of the IBM Systems Research Institute in New York City for 10 years and published a seminal text Data Communications which was adopted as course text by more than 60 universities worldwide.
Dixon has traveled extensively to six continents to serve on advisory boards and give highly sought after presentations on entrepreneurship, technological trends, job creation, government policy and innovation. He also serves on the Executive Committee and Advisory Board for the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research Institute (SIEPR) and is on the Board of Overseers at the Hoover Institution at Stanford. Phillip Dunkelberger has broad experience resulting from more than 30 years in technology. Prior to leading Nok Nok Labs, Mr. Dunkelberger served for 8 years as co-founder and CEO of PGP Corporation, the leader in the Enterprise Data Protection market, until acquired by Symantec in 2010. He has significant experience in SaaS infrastructure and enterprise software, having served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Doll Capital Management (DCM), President and CEO of Embark, and COO of Vantive Corporation. He has also held senior management positions with Symantec, Apple Computer and Xerox Corporation. Mr. Dunkelberger has served on several boards of directors, and currently serves on the Board of Ionic Security. He is a founding board member of the Cyber Security Industry Alliance (CSIA) and is Chairman Emeritus of TechAmerica’s CxO Council. Mr. Dunkelberger holds a B.A. in Political Science from Westmont College and is a member of the school’s President’s Advisory Board.
In the past 20 years, Andre has founded and grown a number of successful software companies.
Andre founded Durand Communications in 1993. The company pioneered the first online photograph database and Windows NT client/server bulletin board. In 1998, the company was sold to Webb Interactive.
Jabber was founded by Andre in 2000 where he commercialized the Jabber instant messaging open source platform, creating the Jabber Software Foundation in the process. Today Jabber is used around the world by hundreds of thousands of businesses. Jabber was sold to Cisco in 2008.
In 2002 Andre founded Ping Identity with a vision of securing the Internet through identity. Among his many contributions to the identity and security industry, he founded and chairs the identity industry conference, Cloud Identity Summit, now in its 7th year.
Andre holds a BA in Biology and Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife Kim and two daughters, Parker and Samantha.
A retired four-star Admiral with a distinguished 40-year career of military and strategic leadership, Admiral Fallon led U.S. and Allied forces in eight separate commands and played a leadership role in military and diplomatic matters at the highest levels of U.S. government. Former head of both U.S. Central Command and U.S. Pacific Command, he has worldwide experience in international security, political and commercial affairs. Through his military service, Admiral Fallon gained insight into the role of cyber security in protecting our nation’s most sensitive communications and critical assets. This experience helped shape his unique perspective and ongoing commitment to ensuring that government and enterprise can actively respond to today’s ever-evolving cyber threats.
Admiral Fallon currently owns his own consulting and advisory business, William J. Fallon & Associates, LLC, and is a partner at Tilwell Petroleum, LLC. Admiral Fallon was a Robert E. Wilhelm Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Center for International Studies. He is a Director at the American Security Project, and CounterTack, a cyber security company.
Admiral Fallon is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Naval Analyses and is a member of the U.S. Secretary of Defense Science Board. Admiral Fallon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an Honorary Doctorate degree from Villanova University as well as a Master of Arts degree in international studies from Old Dominion University. He is a graduate of the Naval War College and the National War College.
Richard is Cyber Security Partner for PwC UK, responsible for developing its range of Cyber Security services and taking them to market in all industry sectors.
Prior to joining PwC, Richard was Managing Director of Cyber Security for Barclays PLC; responsible to the Barclays Board for ensuring management of cyber security risk across the Barclays Group.
Richard was seconded from Barclays to the UK Cabinet Office for 2011, to help shape and drive the national plan for Cyber Security – both across government and the wider economy. Prior to the secondment, Richard built and led the range of operational cyber security capabilities required to protect Barclays retail and commercial banking systems and electronic data globally. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer for the global IT operations of the Retail and Commercial Bank.
Prior to joining Barclays, Richard was Head of Electronic Commerce and Security Services for Global Crossing UK, after leading development of cryptographic services for Racal.
Richard holds a PhD in Mathematics from Royal Holloway, University of London, and has represented the UK on security matters to the OECD, the European Commission and the International Standards Organisation. He serves on a number of advisory boards for academic institutions and technology startup companies in Cyber Security and he served on the advisory board of PGP Corporation prior to its acquisition by Symantec.
Ed joined Mimecast in August, 2015 as Chief Operating Officer, leading the global marketing, sales and services teams. He brings extensive experience in both SaaS and security companies, with a proven track record of delivering growth by combining innovative marketing strategies with go-to-market operational excellence.
Ed joined Mimecast from cloud-based application security company, Veracode, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer responsible for the company’s worldwide marketing strategy. Prior to Veracode, he served as General Manager at ADP responsible for their SaaS-based compliance business. Previously, he was CEO at Copanion, a SaaS workflow solution.
Ed is a graduate of Boston College and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Stuart leads Cylance as its CEO and visionary for the first math based approach to threat detection, protection and response. Prior to Cylance, Stuart was EVP, Global CTO and General Manager at McAfee/Intel. Stuart is the creator and lead-author of the most successful security book of all time, Hacking Exposed. He is widely recognized for his extensive and in-depth knowledge of security, and is one of the industry’s leading authorities in information security today.
Dan Schiappa is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Products. In this role, Dan is responsible for the overall strategy, product management, architecture, research and development and product quality for the network security, enduser security and Sophos Central groups, and drives next-gen innovation into the entire portfolio.
Dan joined Sophos as general manager of the Sophos Enduser Security Group in 2013 with responsibility for the company’s portfolio of enduser security offerings, including endpoint, mobile, server protection, and encryption and data protection products. In November 2016, Dan also took responsibility for the Network Security Group that includes the Sophos portfolio of next-gen firewall, UTM, and wifi protection.
Prior to joining Sophos, Dan served as senior vice president and general manager of the Identity and Data Protection Group at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. At RSA, Dan managed a business unit with responsibility for Authentication, Identity Management, Anti-Fraud, Encryption and Data Center Operations. Previously, he held several GM positions at Microsoft Corporation, including Windows security, Microsoft Passport/Live ID, and Mobile Services. Dan was the key business leader for Microsoft’s BitLocker and Rights Management services.
Prior to Microsoft, Dan was the CEO of Vingage Corporation, a video server provider acquired by L3 Mobilevision, and was an executive at PictureVision, an online digital imaging company acquired by Kodak. Dan also held senior technical roles at Informix Software and Oracle Corporation.
Vance Serchuk is the executive director of the KKR Global Institute, the geopolitical strategy unit of KKR, where he focuses on defense and national security focused investments. Since joining KKR in 2013, Vance has been involved in KKR’s investments in Hensoldt, United Group, and Afriflora. He is also an adjunct senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security in Washington, DC. Before joining KKR, Vance served as the senior foreign policy advisor to Senator Joseph Lieberman and as a professional staff member on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. In this capacity, he worked on a broad range of international security issues, including Iran and Russia sanctions legislation, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Asia-Pacific strategy. In 2013, he lived in Japan as a Council on Foreign Relations-Hitachi International Affairs Fellow and a monthly columnist for the Washington Post. His writings have also appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and Politico. Mr. Serchuk is a summa cum laude graduate of Princeton University, holds a JD from Yale Law School, and was a Fulbright scholar in the Russian Federation. He is an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Gil Azrielant is co-founder and CTO of Axis Security. Gil is responsible for technology strategy and the development of the company’s cloud-based zero-trust application access platform. Prior to joining Axis Security, Gil was co-founder & CTO of Cool Cousin, a cloud-based platform for travelers looking to unlock outstanding travel experiences.
Gil’s cybersecurity career began in the elite Unit 8200 of the Israeli Army Intelligence Corps, where he worked on advanced cyber security and code decryption. He served five years inside this elite unit, working as a researcher and team leader.
Gil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and graduated magna cum laude from IDC Herzliya, one of Israel’s leading academic institutions.
Dor Knafo is co-founder and CEO of Axis Security. Axis Security was founded to solve the problem of secure application access for employees, partners, and other stakeholders. Mike Kushin is President and Chief Executive Officer of BlackHorse Solutions, a leading provider of solutions to the national security and critical business community. As CEO he is responsible for leading the direction of the company and delivering capabilities with excellence to our customers. Mike brings over 30 years of highly specialized experience delivering capabilities to the Defense Department and Intelligence Community in three core areas, including cyber technology solutions, digital signals processing development, and mission applications.
Prior to BlackHorse, Mike was the Executive Vice President of the National and Cyber Solutions Group at CACI International. He also previously served as Executive Vice President and CTO at Six3Systems, which was acquired by CACI in 2013, and held senior roles in mission focused research and development at ManTech International and Integrated Data Systems.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
Steve brings 25 years of operations management and executive management, as well as a technical vision informed by 20 years in the IT security field as a technical practitioner, consultant, and thought leader. Previously, Steve founded NetWorks Group, a cybersecurity services company, in 1997 and NWG Technologies, an analytics software company in 2006.
Matt has over 10 years of experience in IT and development, focusing on business strategy, development, compliance, threat detection and penetration testing. Previously, he was Director of Security Services, Development & Security at NetWorks Group, responsible for defensive information security and services.
James is a co-founder of cado security and has over 13 years experience in helping global organisations tackle sophisticated cyber espionage and criminal campaigns. James has a deep passion for cyber incident response, forensics and cyber crisis. His background includes a career in intelligence previously leading Australia’s National Incident Response capability as the Assistant Director of Operations at the Australian Signals Directorate. After moving to the UK in 2013 James started with PwC to help build and lead the Cyber Incident Response service. As a Director within the PwC cyber practice he worked with his team on unveiling the APT10 Cloudhopper cyber espionage campaign, as well as helping many global organisations investigate, isolate and mitigate significant compromises. James has previously spoken at various conferences, including cloudsec, crestcon, and the forensics europe expo. James has also published papers on topics such as disruptive cyber attacks, and supply chain attacks and loves to stay active in the wider cyber security community.
Chris is a co-founder of cado security. He joined the industry after winning a forensics and development competition run by the US DoD. Chris is known for building the popular threat intelligence portal ThreatCrowd, which subsequently merged into the AlienVault Open Threat Exchange, later acquired by ATT. While working at PwC and ATT AlienVault in research and development, Chris published a number of widely read articles and papers on targeted cyber attacks. His research on topics such as the North Korean government’s crypto-currency theft schemes, and China’s attacks against dissident websites, have been widely discussed in the media. He has given interviews to print, radio and TV such as CNN and BBC News.
Anusha Iyer is the CTO and Co-Founder of Corsha. She is a technology leader with over 15 years of experience in security-minded software, analytics, and managed services. A Carnegie Mellon alum, she started in the Washington, DC area at the Naval Research Lab. At NRL, her focus was on reverse engineering and tactical edge networking.
Most recently, she was the Director of Software Programs at Galois, Inc., managing DARPA contracts in the areas of privacy, cyber-mission planning, and software diversity.

Chris Simkins is the CEO and Co-Founder of Corsha. He is an entrepreneur, lawyer and consultant, with over 20 years of experience protecting data and technology. He co-founded and was CEO of Chain Security, a technology supply chain and product development security firm, until exiting to found Corsha.
Chris worked in the U.S. Department of Justice, first in the Counterespionage Section and then as a senior advisor to the Assistant Attorneys General for the National Security and Criminal Divisions. He managed national security programs and was DOJ’s representative on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS).
He has practiced law with two prominent DC law firms and in his own solo practice.
Creighton has more than a decade of experience in IT system security, identity verification, and Web authentication markets. As co-founder, president and CEO of GeoTrust, Creighton was responsible for providing the leadership, strategic direction and management for the company. Creighton spearheaded GeoTrust strategically and positioned the company for rapid growth. Creighton led the efforts to raise $24 million in venture financing and sold GeoTrust to VeriSign (NASDAQ: VRSN) for $125 million in September 2006. In addition, Creighton led the spin-off of ChosenSecurity from GeoTrust, which was acquired by PGP, Corp. (now Symantec). Creighton was also co-founder and executive chairman of AffirmTrust LLC, which was acquired by a Trend Micro in 2011, and co-founder of RatePoint, Inc., which was named MITX 2010 Social Media Company of the Year for New England. He serves on the advisory board of OneID (www.oneid.com) and was formerly a technical advisory board member at PGP Corp. He is also the Chairman of Robly (www.robly.com).
Creighton is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University. He is also the co-inventor of the domain control authentication patent granted in 2006 which is the primary method for the distribution of SSL encryption credentials on the Internet (the lock symbol in your browser whenever you enter your credit card or password securely). Creighton was a Massachusetts High Tech All Star 2010, 40 Under 40 award in New England, three-time Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and 2007 Sale Side Deal of the Year winner for New England from Mass High Tech.

As Chief Executive Officer, Fred is responsible for overall company direction. Previous to CyberGRX, Fred served in several senior management roles at Bridgewater Associates, including Head of Compliance and Head of Security. Prior to these positions, Fred was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Co., where he was a leader of the Corporate Finance practice. James has over twelve years’ experience of technical information security acting as an advisor to large private sector and government organizations. Much of his work has involved counteracting the growth of crime and fraud in computer networks and developing effective ways of measuring and managing the information security big picture.
Alastair has worked for over a decade advising secure government and FTSE 100 clients on large-scale data analytics for risk and intelligence. Before founding Digital Shadows in 2011, Alastair was International Propositions Manager at BAE Systems Detica working with clients in the Gulf, Europe and Australasia. He holds a first class MEng in Computer Science from the University of Bristol.
Idan Levin is Hexadite’s co-founder and chief technology officer. Prior to Hexadite, Idan spent four years at Elbit Systems Ltd. as a cyber-software engineer and development leader responsible for the product life cycle of the company’s intelligence systems. Prior to his work in the private sector, Idan served in an elite intelligence unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he led the development of several cyber security products and managed various development teams.
Matthew has spent the past decade analyzing some of the world’s most complex datasets while supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community. Prior to co-founding Immuta, Matthew served as CTO of CSC’s Defense Intelligence Group where he led data fusion and analytics programs, and advised the U.S. Government leadership on data management and analytics issues. Before joining the civilian sector, Matthew served honorably as an Officer in the U.S Army, during which time included tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Matthew graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology.

Steve is the co-founder and CTO of Immuta. Previously, Steve was the CTO of 42Six Solutions (acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation), where he led a large Big Data services engineering team. Deke George, a co-founder of NetSPI, is a business-oriented IT executive. He has significant entrepreneurial experience as both a member and founder of multiple startups. He began his career as a founder of the computer forensics program at Ontrack (now Kroll-Ontrack). In this capacity, he has worked on high-profile computer fraud and computer evidence cases in the United States and abroad. As an entrepreneur with a focus on creating client-oriented solutions, Deke has been involved in a variety of roles including consultant, sales, and leadership for a number of technology-based organizations. Allen Rogers is a co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Noetic Cyber. Allen is a seasoned cybersecurity product strategist and engineering leader. Over his 30-year career he has been a founding member and executive at numerous successful cybersecurity startups with a proven track record of identifying unmet market needs, envisioning innovative solutions, and building and scaling teams to successfully deliver those solutions to market. He has help take several companies from single-digit employees, through rapid growth, to IPO or acquisition, and has stayed on to lead large teams at acquiring companies. Most recently Allen served as Director of Engineering at IBM Security after the acquisition of Resilient Systems.

As CEO of OffSec, Ning is responsible for the company vision, strategy, execution and culture. Ning joins OffSec with 20+ years of experience after having held COO/CFO/CTO at a number of companies including HackerOne and lynda.com. Ning has led fast growth companies and teams and has extensive experience of corporate fundraisings and M&A. Ning is passionate about leadership and building great companies. Ning has a Ph.D. in physics from UC Berkeley and has worked at McKinsey & Co. Ning resides in Chicago with her husband.
Dan Burns brought more than 23 years of business, technology and security industry experience to his role as chief executive officer for Optiv Security, which was created in 2015 as a result of the Accuvant and FishNet Security merger. From 2002 when he co-founded Accuvant, until 2012 when he assumed his position as the company’s first CEO, Burns served as senior vice president of Accuvant’s sales organization. In that role, he was responsible for strategic planning, sales growth and problem resolution. Burns co-developed and helped to successfully execute on Accuvant’s initial vision – to build a company with the breadth, depth and capabilities to address the information security needs of organizations worldwide. He launched the sales force and grew it to a national powerhouse organization within a 10-year period, conducting business with nearly half of the Fortune 500, and driving $740 million in revenue in 2014.
Prior to his achievements with Accuvant, Burns was the regional vice president of sales for the western region of OneSecure. He played an integral role in transitioning the organization from a managed security services (MSS) provider to a product company, delivering to the marketplace the first intrusion prevention system (IPS) and generating $40 million in product sales in the first year.
Pandian has more than 20 years of product and engineering leadership experience and is also a serial entrepreneur. Before founding Ordr (formerly CloudPost), he was the Chief Development Officer at Aruba, responsible for all of engineering and product management functions. Aruba, an enterprise mobile wireless company, was acquired by HPE for $3 Billion in March 2015. Before Aruba, Pandian served as the head of engineering for Cisco’s multi-billion-dollar Wi-Fi business unit and before that as VP of engineering for low-end switching product lines. He graduated with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Chennai, India and holds several patents to his credit in various networking technologies.
Greg joined Ordr (formerly CloudPost) as CEO in December 2018. Previously, he was VP Business Operations for the HPE Aruba Group, the 4,000 person networking and IoT business unit of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In that role, Greg was responsible for leading the business integration of Aruba and HP Networking following HP’s $3 billion acquisition of Aruba Networks in 2015. Greg held multiple prior senior executive positions within Aruba, including SVP Business Operations, GM of network management software, GM of outdoor and mesh products and VP of Marketing. Greg joined Aruba in 2008 through its acquisition of AirWave Wireless, a network management software provider that Greg founded and led. Greg received his M.A. from Stanford University and his B.A. from Amherst College.
Before starting Ordr (formerly CloudPost) in 2015, Sheausong was the Chief Architect and VP of Technology at Aruba Networks, an HP Company. He has over 28 years of industry experiences in wired and wireless networking, cellular communication, system management software, and cloud computing software. Sheausong held both technical and management positions in Cisco System, AT&T Bell Labs, and several startup companies. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northwestern University, and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.

Patrick brings more than 20 years of software development, networking infrastructure and information security experience to the Office of the CTO. He is responsible for Ping Labs as well as establishing Ping Identity’s product and technology strategy. Before Ping Identity, he was a vice president and security architect at Fidelity Investments, where he guided the strategic alignment of identity management and security technologies with the goals of the business. Before Fidelity he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, were he built their Internet Security Practice. Patrick holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Andre founded Durand Communications in 1993. The company pioneered the first online photograph database and Windows NT client/server bulletin board. In 1998, the company was sold to Webb Interactive.
Jabber was founded by Andre in 2000 where he commercialized the Jabber instant messaging open source platform, creating the Jabber Software Foundation in the process. Today Jabber is used around the world by hundreds of thousands of businesses. Jabber was sold to Cisco in 2008.
In 2002 Andre founded Ping Identity with a vision of securing the Internet through identity. Among his many contributions to the identity and security industry, he founded and chairs the identity industry conference, Cloud Identity Summit, now in its 7th year.

Max Kelly created [redacted] in 2015 following public service at the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command. Prior to the NSA, Max was the Chief Security Officer of Facebook from 2005 to 2010, where he founded, built, and managed the Facebook Security Team. He was responsible for all aspects of Facebook Security, protecting the personal information of hundreds of millions of users. In 2008, his team successfully investigated, prosecuted, and won the largest anti-spam judgment in history. Earlier in his career, Max was a Computer Forensics Examiner at the FBI, VP of Technology for Ticketmaster Online, and Chief Technology Officer of Europe at Thomson Financial Services, a division of Thomson Reuters. Max also served at the US Digital Service, an elite technology unit housed within the Executive Office of the President.
Prior to co-founding [redacted], John Hering was the co-founder and CEO of Lookout, a global leader in cybersecurity technology based in Silicon Valley. Lookout protects over 100 million users globally including the world’s largest enterprises and the US Government across multiple agencies. John began his career as a security researcher with a focus on mobile and IOT technologies and contributed to the discovery of a wide range of critical security vulnerabilities. John is widely recognized as a security industry leader and is a frequent presenter at conferences including DEFCON, Black Hat Technical Security Conference, RSA, and Mobile World Congress. Colin O’Connor is Chief Operating Officer for ReliaQuest. O’Connor is responsible for all technical operations of the company, which includes Security Operations, Delivery Management, Business Analytics, Engineering/Development, Product Management and Account Management. Over the past 11 years with ReliaQuest, he has played a key role in nearly every area of the company, helping to architect and enhance ReliaQuest’s solutions for its customer base of Fortune 1000 companies. Colin is an active member of the technology and information security community and has held roles with the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, ISSA, BSides, and InfaGard. As a result of his rapid growth trajectory and broad impact across cybersecurity, he recently received Florida State University’s College of Business Recent Alumni Achievement Award.
Joe Partlow is the CTO of ReliaQuest. Joe currently oversees all new research and development efforts and new product initiatives. Joe has been involved with Infosec in some capacity or role for over 20 years, mostly on the defensive side but always impressed by offensive tactics. Current projects and interests include data analytics at scale, forensics, threat, security metrics & automation, red/purple teaming and artificial intelligence. Outside of Information Security, Joe has led or been involved in many other areas of the business including Web Development, Business Intelligence, Database Administration, Project Management, IT and Operations. Joe has experience in many different business verticals including retail, healthcare, financial, state/local government and the Department of Defense. Joe has a degree in Computer Information Systems and holds many industry-specific certifications.
Jason Pfeiffer, VP of Product Management for ReliaQuest, is responsible for the development and execution of their go to market strategy. Prior to leading ReliaQuest’s Product Management team, Jason joined RQ in 2016, leading the Incident Response team and soon after was responsible for the entire Security Operations organization. Prior to joining ReliaQuest, Jason spent his career building and leading world-class cyber security programs for global businesses, including Lockheed Martin and PwC. He earned his B.S. in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and his M.S. in Technology Management from RPI. Jason also holds several industry certifications including the CISSP, ISSAP, CISM and C/EH and in 2015 he was awarded the Senior Information Security Professional of the year by ISC2.
Pablo de la Riva founded his first company when he was 21 years old. He has worked in the anti-fraud sector for almost 15 years, including as a cyber-security analyst, team leader, CTO with almost 200 people reporting to him, and now as CEO of Revelock. He is passionate about his work of identifying and protecting against online fraud, an interest than began when he was given his first computer at 12 years old and was one day hacked. Fascinated at a young age at how such an intrusion was possible, he began his life’s work understanding and preventing online fraud.
Sandy Bird is the co-founder and CTO of Sonrai Security, helping enterprises secure their data in the cloud. Sandy was the co-founder and CTO of Q1 Labs, which was acquired by IBM in 2011. At IBM Sandy become the CTO for the global security business and worked closely with research, development, marketing and sales to develop new and innovative solutions to help the IBM Security business grow to ~$2B in annual revenue.
In addition to being CEO of Sonrai, Brendan is an Entrepreneur Partner at Polaris Partners, Chairman of Twistlock and serves on the boards of BitSight and Flashpoint. Hannigan was previously General Manager of IBM Security which grew to be the #1 enterprise security provider under his leadership (~$2B revenue). Previously Brendan was CEO of Q1 Labs which became the #1 security intelligence market share leader.
Stephen Cox is Strivacity’s co-founder and chief technology officer. On the front lines of redefining Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), Stephen drives all aspects of engineering and operations – from product development to quality assurance to information security.
Stephen has been in the IT industry for nearly 20 years, with 10 years of experience leading software development teams in security markets. A key player in some of the most influential IT security firms in the world, he is recognized as an expert in identity, network and endpoint threat detection, as well as an accomplished software architect.
Prior to co-founding Strivacity, Stephen served as vice president and chief security architect at SecureAuth, where he helped drive product strategy and architecture. Beforehand, he served as technical lead of the endpoint and “FireEye-as-a-Service” development teams at FireEye. These teams specialized in forensics and endpoint event monitoring as part of the FireEye HX platform. And prior to FireEye, Stephen was a principal developer of NetWitness Spectrum at RSA NetWitness. Stephen also spent numerous years at VeriSign supporting the DNS Resolution Operations team, and in various software development roles at Northrop Grumman and AOL.

Keith Graham is Strivacity’s co-founder and chief executive officer. Keith spearheads day-to-day business operations and defines Strivacity’s product strategy and differentiation in the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) market.
Keith has more than 18 years of experience in the technology field. The last 10 he spent in cybersecurity, with a focus on identity and access management, endpoint detection and response markets. Keith has extensive know-how in building and leading product management, engineering, and user experience teams, as well as risk and compliance teams in high-growth software companies.
Prior to co-founding Strivacity, Keith served as senior vice president of products and chief technology officer for SecureAuth, leading the product and engineering organization globally. In 2017, he helped drive the eventual sale of SecureAuth to a private equity fund comprised of W Capital Partners, State Street, and K1 Investment Management.
Before joining SecureAuth in 2014, Keith held various product management and engineering leadership roles at Mandiant (acquired by FireEye), Quest Software, British Telecom, and Pfizer.
Keith holds a Masters of Science degree in information security and biometrics from the University of Kent and a Bachelor of Science degree in computing from the University of Greenwich. Additionally, Keith is a chartered member of the British Computer Society.
Ben is a seasoned leader with more than 14 years of experience in software development, product management, and enterprise security technologies. Trained in the elite Israeli Intelligence Corps, Ben is a Microsoft veteran and has successfully delivered Windows Servers and Windows Security products to millions of users. Ben has a B.A in Computer Science from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel.
An experienced developer and machine-learning expert, Dima is a Microsoft veteran with 11 years of experience in enterprise security and software engineering. Prior to that, Dima held lead developer positions at Deutsche telekom. Dima has a B.Sc. in software engineering and an M.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
John Morello is the Chief Technology Officer at Twistlock. As CTO, John leads the work with strategic customers and partners and drives the product roadmap. Prior to Twistlock, John was the CISO of Albemarle, a Fortune 500 global chemical company. Before that, John spent 14 years at Microsoft, in both Microsoft Consulting Services and product teams. He ran feature teams that shipped security technologies in Windows, Azure, and Office 365 and served as the Lead Architect of the hybrid cloud consulting team for the Americas. John lives in Louisiana with his wife and two young sons. A passionate fisherman and scuba diver, he also serves as Chairman of the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana.
Gilad is a distinguished software developer with more than 15 years of hands on experience in designing and programming state of the art solutions in enterprise software. Gilad is a Microsoft veteran and successfully architected and executed Cloud and Data security solutions. Prior to founding Valid Network Gilad was the Co-Founder and CTO of Distribyte. Gilad holds a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from the Technion.
Kfir is an emerging technologies evangelist and a seasoned executive with more than 17 years of delivering complex projects with expertise in enterprise security, product management and enterprise architecture. Prior to Valid Network Kfir was the CEO Distribyte, a distributed cloud application platform that set to change the existing cloud technologies paradigm. Kfir Holds a BA in Computer Science from the Haifa University.
Kevin is a Professor of Cyber Security, Executive Co-Director of the Legal Innovation Centre and group leader of the Cyber Security and Web Technologies Research Group at Ulster University. He sits on the Advisory Group of the UK Cyber Security Council and the Northern Ireland Civil Service Cyber Leadership Board. He is also a senior member of the IEEE and a Fellow of the British Blockchain Association (FBBA). Kevin is most well-known for his work on cyber security, blockchain and networking evidenced by over 900 publications. He is one of the most interviewed technology experts in the UK with over 2000+ interviews in recent years.
Maxim is a project leader and sales manager with international experience in the B2B software and Fintech industry in leading commercial and strategic roles, with a proven track record of establishing new brands, opening markets and implementing processes. His big passion is privacy and data protection, which also explains his relentless drive to make this world a little safer with Vaultree.
Ryan has since childhood always been fascinated by technology breakthroughs from space travel to EnviroTech and in the last 12 years been involved with technology startups developing solutions to major problems. Ryan’s background is in financial mathematics with a passion for astrophysics and economics, having also worked in corporate environments in roles ranging from project manager to senior analyst reporting to executives in listed multinationals. Ryan is always looking for ways to improve and apply his out of the box thinking to new scenarios and his biggest undertaking to date solving today’s and tomorrow’s data privacy & protection challenges. Other than technology he’s fascinated by the underwater world and loves scuba diving (cheap alternative to zero gravity), travelling the world and meeting new people and cultures.
Shaun Mc Brearty is a Software Security Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, implementing, testing and deploying cryptographic solutions. Shaun’s passion is developing solutions that overcome the shortcomings of traditional cryptographic algorithms – mainly performance, scalability and processing data in encrypted form. Tilo is a business developer, program manager and marketeer with a “nothing is impossible” attitude and more than a decade of experience in starting things from scratch. He developed highly scalable tech products, business segments and brands in several industries before he decided that his desire to do something good is best put in practice by founding a startup tackling one of today’s most important topics: Data security. Having travelled half the world and lived on 3 continents showed him clearly that his data can be stolen anywhere. Ben Cianciaruso is co-founder and chief operating officer of Verodin, Inc., an emerging-stage company pioneering the instrumentation of cybersecurity. Ben has more than 20 years of cybersecurity, telecommunications, business intelligence and IT strategy experience. He previously served as managing partner at ESM Strategies, Inc., an enterprise management, cybersecurity and software development services company. Prior to ESM, Ben was the CEO and co-founder of ENIRA Technologies, a provider of incident response and network automation products. At ENIRA, Ben provided strategic leadership and development across the organization with a focus on operations, product management and sales. He managed the successful sale of the company to ArcSight (now HP), a global leader in cybersecurity software solutions.
Prior to ENIRA, Ben served as vice president of product development and co-founder of Global eTicket Exchange (GEE), a strategic consulting and licensing company for the entertainment and sports ticketing industry. Ben and his GEE colleagues were granted a U.S. patent for their “Entertainment Event Ticket Purchase and Exchange System.”
Ben’s career includes serving as global director of IT strategy & applications for TeliaSonera International Carrier, a Scandinavian based global telecommunications company and as director of advanced technology and strategy for Rexall Sundown Inc. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a degree in finance with a concentration in management information systems from Florida Atlantic University.

Robert Potter is the Chief Revenue Office at Verodin. Rob is responsible for developing and delivering the global strategy, services and solutions that support Verodin’s customer needs. With over 25 years of industry experience, he has a solid track record of partnering with private and public enterprise organizations to improve their security and information management requirements.
Prior to joining Verodin in 2017, Rob was the Vice President of the Americas for Symantec, overseeing a $1B security product portfolio. His leadership experience in the information security and technology markets has included senior leadership roles at EMC (RSA), IBM, Attachment (WRQ), Lancope (Acquired by CISCO), co-founder of STS, and as a senior executive with multiple start-up companies. In addition to his professional career, Rob has proudly served as a Board Member of Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on helping our homeless veterans. Rob currently serves as an advisor for BroadBranch Advisors, Measured Risk, and Boundless. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree, in Computer Science from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia along with his wife and two daughters.
