Matthew Carroll

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Matthew has spent the past decade analyzing some of the world’s most complex datasets while supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community. Prior to co-founding Immuta, Matthew served as CTO of CSC’s Defense Intelligence Group where he led data fusion and analytics programs, and advised the U.S. Government leadership on data management and analytics issues. Before joining the civilian sector, Matthew served honorably as an Officer in the U.S Army, during which time included tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Matthew graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology.

Steve Touw

Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Steve is the co-founder and CTO of Immuta. He has a long history of designing large-scale geo-temporal analytics across the U.S. intelligence community — including some of the very first Hadoop analytics and frameworks to manage complex multi-tenant data policy controls. Previously, Steve was the CTO of 42Six Solutions (acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation), where he led a large Big Data services engineering team. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Maryland.

Michael Schiller

Founder, Chief Customer Officer

Mike is the co-founder and Chief Customer Officer at Immuta. He’s responsible for platform implementation, documentation and training, customer support, and internal Immuta IT operations. Prior to joining Immuta, Mike was the Technical Director of CSC’s Defense Intelligence Group and at Berico Technologies. He also held engineering roles at a technical services provider to intelligence agencies, RABA Technologies (acquired by SRA), and the U.S. Department of Defense. Mike graduated with Honors from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science, and holds a Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
